Wanda J Wismer

Wanda Jean Green Wismer went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2011. She is survived by her husband Elmer Thomas Wismer and two children James and Jeannie. Wanda is also survived by two sisters, Sandra Talbert and Kay Mullins, and one brother, Russell Green, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda was born June 30, 1939, in Elizabeth, Louisiana to Bessie Spears Green and Warner Russell Green. She lived most of her life in Southeast Texas. After graduating from high school, she attended Lamar?s nursing program. Wanda had a special love for children and her church, Woodland Baptist. She served faithfully in her church nursery for over twenty years.

Visitation will be at Claybar Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 9, 2011, from 2:00pm ? 5:00pm. The service will be Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at Claybar at 10:00am. Interment service will follow in Dry Creek, Louisiana.
