From family and friends

Melchor Pascua April 25, 2026
I am so sorry to hear that Oscar has gone to see our LORD. Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers to the whole family. I worked with Oscar at our BASF Beaumont facility until I retired about 25 years ago. He was a very good employee at the warehouse and he keep our warehouse well stocked with anything we need at the plant. Good Bye my friend

My family and I would like to send our deepest condolences to his wife, Ms Deadra and their son Mr. Christopher and the rest of the family and friends. I actually worked with Mr.Oscar at BASF for 28 years. I had an incident at my job with chemicals and he took me gladly under his care at the warehouse when I was given that choice instead of retiring. He treated me with respect and really went out of his way to help me with the new job. He gave me special assignments which I gave 110 % always but I found out the extra ten % almost always got me in trouble. I saw in him how to be “cool, calm and collected” and still do the job right and well. He was a very generous man. Just to mention, I and the rest of his crew, had countless meal treats from him in my last 5 years with the company. I said goodbye to you almost 9 years ago and goodbye again my mentor and friend! Oscar and I worked together in the same department for several years when we first went to work at the plant over 40 years ago. Oscar was a good guy, sometimes opinionated and somewhat set in his ways, but a good guy and I considered him a friend. He will be missed and I send my heartfelt condolences to Dee and Chris.
