Mildred Clark

Mildred Clark, 84, of Beaumont was born December 7, 1930 in Bessmay, Texas to Pete and Mabel (Patterson) Knight and went to be with her Lord on October 9, 2015. A longtime resident of Beaumont, Mrs. Clark was a retired financial analyst with Mobil Oil and a member of First Baptist Church of Beaumont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Selman Clark; brothers, John Knight and Houston Jennings Knight and Norman Knight; and sister Gerry Reeves.

She is survived by two sons, Jon Clark of Elgin, Texas, Scott Clark and wife, Terri of Buna, Texas; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Cole, Seth, Luke, Kati, Morgan and Marshal Clark; and six great-grandchildren, Cale, Blakelee, Adilee, Kaidence, Beau and Rhett Clark.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 10:00 at First Baptist Church of Beaumont on Major Drive with Reverend Larry Walker, officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Antioch Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
