Obituary

Michael Wayne Ballard, 59, of China, TX, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at his home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel, 1155 N 11th St, Beaumont, TX 77702. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, on left hand side of Highway 90 driving west from Beaumont.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ballard was born February 13, 1951 in Kirbyville to Rufus Aquilla Ballard, Sr. and Thelma Marie Vestal Ballard. He was an estimator in the construction industry.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Serda and is survived by his brothers, Glynn Ballard and wife, Bonnie and Sonny Ballard and wife Debbie and numerous nephews and nieces.
