Margaret Beaulah Jordan

Margaret Jordan, 88, was born in Pelham, TN April 12, 1926 to W. T. and Hattie Partin Hill and passed away May 18, 2014 in Beaumont, TX. She was a long term resident of the area and was a florist and owner of Margaret’s Flowers & Gifts. Mrs. Jordan was a faithful member of Gospel Tabernacle of Beaumont, who also enjoyed travelling, reading, sewing and gardening.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, May 21 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont with the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Michael LaBrie to begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by her daughter, Deborah Pickering and husband, Ronnie of Lumberton; sisters, Fermenda Hassebrock of Layne’s Cove and Mary Lee Johnson of Tracy City; grandson, Brian Jordan and wife, Carla of Starks, LA; granddaughter, Amber Chandler and her husband, Delbert; grandson, Aaron Pickering and wife Shelley; six great-grandchildren, Nickolas, Skylar, Luke, Lily, Londyn and Landry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clayton Jordan; son, Thomas Nelson Jordan and daughter-in-law, Sylvia Jordan; brothers Joe and Osler Hill and sisters; Lucille Brown and Edith Layne Shirley.
