Mae Dora Stegens, 71, of Beaumont was born April 6, 1945 in Jennings, Louisiana to Elton and Elizabeth Myers and passed away June 19, 2016 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
She is survived by her husband, George M. Stegens; daughters, Theresa Reaves, Mitzi Adaway, Mary Burch; son, John Adaway; grandchildren, Aprill, Mark, Jr., Daniel, Michelle, Andrea, Lindsey, Brandon, Zackary, Clarissa; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley and Cindy; brothers, Elton and Wayne.

Mae is my wife for 30 years. We had our up & down but we stuck it to the end. When she get our home ready in haven I will be going home to her.
