Larry Lucher

Lawrence Paul Lucher, Jr., 74, of Orange, died July 27, 2008, at Pinehurst Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Larry was born April 20, 1934, in New Waverly, Texas, the son of Lawrence Paul Lucher, Sr. and Beatrice Wright Lucher. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Devers Construction and was a former member of the Little Cypress Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Lucher; sons, Eric Lucher and Matthew Lucher and his wife, Katherine; granddaughter, Lauren Lucher, all of Orange and his sister, Katherine Gregory, of New Waverly.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Waverly.
