Kevin Dwayne Thompson

Kevin Dwayne Thompson, 47, was born September 21, 1966 in Houston, TX to Robert Thompson Sr. and Lillian "Tootsie" Thompson and passed away December 8, 2013 in Beaumont, TX. Kevin was a resident of Warren and was employed as a stylist at Studio 77 in Beaumont.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Lillian Thompson; his partner, Patrick Perry; sisters, Elaine Harris and her husband, Jimmy, Charlotte Kelley and her husband, Ronnie and his brother, Robert Thompson Jr. and his wife, Barbara; numerous nieces and nephews and an abundance of loving friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Thompson, Sr.

A memorial service in Kevin's honor will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Knights of Columbus Auditorium, 9505 College Street, Beaumont, TX 77707.

To the family and friends of Kevin Thompson, I would like to offer my condolences along with some comfort from the scriptures. God promises us at Acts 24:15 that there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. That promise includes Kevin. God also promises that,in our near future, by means of his Kingdom Government, he will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death, sickness and pain will be no more. (Revelation 21:4). The above passages brighten our hope for our future. it gives us something positive to look forward to, that of seeing Kevin again on earth when he will have the prospect of never dying again. Sounds like a dream doesn't it? One thing we know about God is that "he cannot lie."
