Karen Denice Jauer

Karen Denice Boren Jauer, 58, of Kountze, passed away on February 11, 2022, in Beaumont.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.

Born in Pasadena, Texas, on January 16, 1964, she was the daughter of Harold Meredith Boren and Beverly Ann (Holst) Boren. Karen was a medical assistant for many different doctors over the years. She enjoyed living on her farm and loved animals dearly. Karen enjoyed raising the cattle, bottle feeding the calf’s, as well as raising and selling chicks. She loved shopping and bowling in her spare time and even married her beloved husband, Larry in a bowling alley. Karen loved her family dearly and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Beverly Boren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Lee Jauer; son, Logan Lane Jauer of Kountze; brother, Terry Boren and wife Deana of Pearland; brother in laws, Monty Jauer and wife Mary of Athens and Randy Jauer and wife Cindy of Kountze; sister in law, Vickie Wilson and husband Ricky of Corpus Christi; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Land, Jeffrey Baker, Donny Parker, Gary Flowers, and Jeff Muckleroy.
