John Edgar Holmes

John Edgar Holmes,75, of Beaumont, passed away on April 1, 2021, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Beaumont.

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, on December 26, 1946, he was the son of Edgar Earl Holmes and Oleta Ellis Holmes. John enjoyed spending time at his home outside on the back patio playing with his dog Christy, and watching old Western’s on TV. He was a kind soul and will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Edgar Earl Holmes and Oleta Ellis Holmes.

He is survived by his Aunt, Frances Comer; cousin, Mitch Comer; and friends, Dan and Carolyn Murphy, Juanita Navarro, Carter Glen “Gabby” Davis.
