Obituary
Hylton Lamar ?Butch? Jarvis, II, of Bridge City, died, September 3, 2007.
A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2007, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Paul Hardin of Dominion Church International in Orange will officiate, assisting him will be Reverend Travis McKelvain of Triumph Church in Port Arthur.
Family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Butch was born January 20, 1953, in Sweetwater to Hylton Lamar and Peggy Jenkins Jarvis.
He was a carpenter by trade and was previously employed by Zachary Construction for many years.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Jarvis.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ramsey Jarvis of Bridge City, daughter, Reva Lea Jarvis of San Marcos; brothers, Van Jarvis of Carlsbad, NM and Scott Jarvis of Orlando, FL; aunt, Audrey Wilson of Georgetown.

I knew Hylton through my previous job as the assistant Manager of K&C Pawn in Orange, Tx. Hylton was always happy and friendly to our staff, it was a great pleasure to have known him. My condolences to Butch's family and friends. Butch was one of the first people I met when moving to Sweetwater in 1961. I still remember playing at his house when he lived across the street from Southeast Elementary.
