Glynn Lyons

Mr. Glynn Lyons passed away on December 1, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Bluff Cemetery at the Serenity Mausoleum on December 28, 2017.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on November 3, 1942, he was the son of Wanda Prejean and Walter A. Lyons. Glynn graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to attend Lamar University for 2 years. He was a Boy Scout most of his life and received his Eagle Scout award. Glynn retired from Ameripol-Synpol in 1999 after 35 years of employment. He worked in research and development. Glynn enjoyed listening to old-time rock and roll, live bands, country and Cajun music.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Charlotte Porter Lyons; his daughter, Amy E. Hingst, his son, Howard A, Lyons; his step-sons, James E. Smith and Perry D. Smith, Jr.; and his step-daughter, Stephanie Cuniff.
