Gladys Erin Wimberly Pullin

Gladys Erin Wimberly Pullin, 99, formerly of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 22, 2020, in Rockwall, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. An escorted procession will depart the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. for Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake, Texas where the graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

Born in Sour Lake, Texas on June 10, 1920, Mrs. Pullin was a daughter of Julian and Anita (Mailhos) Wimberly. She enjoyed taking road trips, visiting with family and friends, attending church, walking around in a shopping mall and playing card games. Gladys loved music and singing gospel songs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Garlon Pullin; siblings, Abner Wimberly, Jack Wimberly, Julian (Judy) Wimberly, Grace Wimberly Dansby, Geneva Wimberly Brown, Margaret Wimberly Sparks, Maude Wimberly; and a granddaughter, Gail Berndt Linam.

Mrs. Pullin is survived by her children, Sue Berndt of Rowlett, Texas and Gary Pullin and wife Sue of Deer Park, Texas; grandchildren, Kristy Wims, Lara Melsha, Chris Pullin and Jason Pullin; great grandchildren, Luke Wims, Jake Wims, Tarrah Stewart, Brooke Pullin, Dominique Pullin, Danielle Pullin and Vera Pullin; and great great grand children, Gibson Waterman and Jett Stewart.
