Elodie Saurage McCown

Elodie Saurage McCown, 83, passed away November 13, 2015 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX. A service celebrating her life will be held Monday November 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.in the chapel of Claybar Funeral Home Beaumont. There will be a gathering of family and friends Sunday from 5 – 8 p.m. also at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCown was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur McCown; sister, Judy Picou and brothers, Olen Saurage, Jr. and Howard Saurage. She is survived by her children, Connie Smith and her husband, Gordon, of Silsbee, TX, Ronnie McCown and his wife, Cheryl, of Lumberton, TX, Doug McCown and his wife, JoVonne, of Scurry, TX and Doyle McCown and his wife, Milissa, of Kountze, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason and Kim McCown, Shanna and Roger Smart, Candice and Andy Pritchard, Charisse and Coy Crochet, Heather Taylor, Tyler McCown, Allison McCown, Chad McCown and Courtney and Jake Talmadge; 11 great-grandchildren, Breanna Smart, Matthew McCown, Jayden Smart, Drew Pritchard, Kaden McCown, Addie Pritchard, Brynlee Pritchard, Colby Crochet, Corley Crochet, Camdyn Crochet and Staton Taylor; her sister, Martha Perez and brothers, Jody Saurage and his wife, Elaine, Robert Saurage and his wife Susan and brother-in-law, Paul Picou.
