Obituary

Elmer Thomas Wismer, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2017 at Kountze Nursing Center.

Elmer was born in Beaumont on October 24, 1932 to Willie Alice Murphy. After graduating from high school, Elmer served in the U.S. Army.

Elmer’s wife, Wanda Green Wismer preceded him in death. Elmer is survived by twins born on his birthday, James and Jeannie Wismer. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Russell Green and sisters-in-law, Sandy Talbert and Kay Mullins.

He was known as a loving father and peaceful man. He had peace in his heart “that peace that passes all understanding” Phil. 4:7

A graveside service will be held at 3:00p.m., at Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek, Louisiana.
