Ellen Mae Cleveland

Funeral services for Ellen Mae Cleveland, 80 of Lumberton, will be held on Thursday, May 29th at 6:00 p.m. in the Claybar Kelley-Watkins Chapel. Interment will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Houston National Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Cleveland was born May 30th 1933 in Decatur, Illinois to Edward Ray and Candys (Kingrey) Wilderman and passed away May 23, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was a homemaker who loved working crossword puzzles, drawing oil painting, singing, dancing and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, George Edward Gunter and Richard Lee Cleveland; son, George Allen Gunter; sister, Candys Slack and brother, Edward Wilderman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Troy Smith, Candys and Christopher Bach; sons, Russell David Faulkner, Gregory Edward Gunter; grandchildren, Theresa Smith, Angela Smith, Robert L. Ramirez, Tony C. Ramirez, Jessica Lynn Ramirez, Autumn Rose West, Carmen Kurtz, Tabitha Bach and Rowena Anderson; great-grandchildren, Logan Payne, Ashlynn Payne, Brooklynn Payne, Seth Dalton, Skylar Scott, Mikaila Scott, Nayla Adalynn Deloach, Avah West, Zoey West, Julia Kaleighe and Leah Kurtz.
