Debra Petree, 68, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on September 25, 2022, in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Friday, September 30, 2022, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas. Officiating will be Mr. Rick Walker of Meadows Church of Christ in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will be from 10:00am, Friday, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on February 27, 1954, she was the daughter of Levy Hartman and Geneva Hartman. Debra grew up in Groves, Texas where she graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School. After she attended Lamar University where she got her bachelor’s degree and met the love of her life Ray whom she was married to for 48 years. She was a teacher for over 20 years at South Park Middle school. She loved arts and crafts, also cooking a delicious meal for her family and friends. Debra was also a member of Meadows Church of Christ in Beaumont, Tx. She was a light in the lives of all those who knew her, and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Levy Hartman and Geneva Hartman; her sons Jamie Ray Petree, Christian Ray, and Christian Len.

She is survived by her husband Ray Petree; her son Derek Petree, of Beaumont; grandchildren Chase and Zachary Petree, of Beaumont; and brother Duane Butch Hartman and wife Debby of Evergreen, Colorado
