Obituary

David Ray Gentry, 62, of Vidor, Texas passed away on July 10, 2020, at his home.

Born in Long Beach, California, on September 9, 1957, he was the son of Charles Bill Gentry and Claire (Johnson) Gentry. David was a loving husband and an amazing father. He worked for many years a s a truck driver and was also a volunteer fire fighter. David was a wise mentor to his family and friends. He was a strong man and a blessing to many and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Edith G. Adcock; children, Kristeena J. Gentry, Crystal, G. Adcock, and Jimmy T. Adcock.

Cremation is under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear this I just found out. He was such a sweet man and I loved him dearly. Nobody loved my black eyed beans (peas) like he did lol. Sad he passed on Jazzy's 13th birthday she's so sad to hear the news. My grandmother met him in heaven 3days later. Peace be with you! :blue_heart::blue_heart:
