Christina Marie Newcomb

Christina Marie Newcomb, 63, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2022, at, St. Elizabeth Hospital, in Beaumont.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont. Officiating will be Pastor Nate Jordan.

Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 5:00 p.m., Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home.

Born in Beaumont, Texas, on September 30, 1958, she was the daughter of Charles Chance and Barbara (Edward) Chance. Christina worked for Bayer in Baytown, Texas for about 15 years. She enjoyed her pottery class, watching old Western movies, and had a special place in her heart for her dog, Shaggy. Above all else, Christina loved spending time with her children and grandchildren who were her immense pride and joy. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Barbara Chance, and her husband, David Newcomb.

She is survived by her children, Jeremiah McCurley and wife Amy, Samuel McCurley and wife Sandy, and Amy Newcomb-Jordan and husband John; her grandchildren, Lexi, Joey, Keaira, Alyssa, Samantha, Christopher, Bryce, and Cami; her siblings, Kevin Chance and Tricia Saunders; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family of Mrs. Newcomb would like to request that the guests please dress casual and comfortable.
