Obituary
Charles F. “Hoot” King, 79, passed away on August 13, 2015 at the Arboretum of Winnie.
Hoot was born in Sour Lake, Texas on February 27, 1936 to Forrest Fitzgereld King and Eunice “Diz” (Banning) King. He was Methodist and retired as a Senior VP Trust Officer in the Beaumont banking community. Hoot graduated from Texas A & M University and served in the U. S. Army Reserve.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Eunice King and his daughter, Kayla R. King. Hoot is survived by his wife, Brenda King; children, Kevin King and wife, Pam of Winnie, Kristi Pintsch and husband, Kevin of Maypearl, and Kasey King and wife, Laura of Humble; six grandchildren, Michael DeMary, Tricia DeMary, Kris King, Kayla King, Konnor King, and Khloe King; and his great-granddaughter, Eliza DeMary.
A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Beaumont, with a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake, Texas.
