Charles M. Castle Jr.

Charles M. Castle Jr., 85, of Nederland, Tx, passed away on March 26, 2023, at his residence.

Funeral services will be 10:00am, Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins in Beaumont, Texas. Officiating will be Glen Casteel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.

Visitation will be at 5:00-8:00pm, Friday March 31, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins in Beaumont, Texas.

Born in Bartlesville, OK, on September 28, 1937, he was the son of Charles M. Castle, Sr. and Loretta Archibald Castle. Charles moved from Oklahoma to Lake Charles, LA and then eventually settled in Beaumont, TX. He worked for many years for Dupont Beaumont as an Electrical Draftsman before retiring. Charles loved being retired and valued the time he spent with his family. He was married to the love of his life Theda Lusk, together they had three children. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Charles was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Theda Lusk; parents, Charles M. Castle, Sr. and Loretta Castle; and grandson, Charles Chase Castle.

He is survived by his children Charles Castle, III, Anita Campbell, and Richard Castle; his grandchildren Jeff Patton, Shala Landry and husband Dalton, Kristen Sistrunk and husband Joseph, Richelle Castle, Shelby Castle; his thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Castle, III, Richard Castle, Dalton Landry, Jeff Patton, Blake Patton, DJ Landry, Talan Pagan, and Daylee Pagan.
