Obituary

Carol Ann Vogt, 75, of Beaumont, Texas passed away May 2, 2016. She was born September 28, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Lorenz Frederick and Vesta Maude (Pasley) Vogt. A service celebrating her life will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4330 Crow Road, Beaumont, Texas. Burial will follow in Missouri. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Vogt is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Keith Stephenson, son, Lee Robles and step-son, Joe Robles, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and her sister, Joan Willoughby. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vesta Robles.

She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for The Horseman Store prior to retiring. As an avid reader she had amassed quite a library and also loved animals, especially her dogs, Tiny and Astro. She loved to play Phase10 with her best friend Ann Holt and she was devoted fan of Johnny Cash.
