Camerino Avila

Camerino Avila, 72, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on May 1, 2023, in Beaumont, Texas.

Gathering of family and friends will be 10:00am to 2:00pm, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home. Cremation will follow under the direction of Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home .

Born in Mexico, on August 21, 1950, he was the son of Maria Isabel Avila. Camerino was a hard-working person that was good at anything he set his mind to. He played baseball in his younger years. In addition to his many hobbies, Camerino loved music, guns, watching soccer, and also enjoyed collecting eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a father, and grandfather, and will be deeply missed by all who loved him during his journey through life.

He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Isabel Avila; and brothers Jose Guadalupe Hernandez and Jose Goudencio Hernandez.

He is survived by his daughters Norma Avalos and husband Rafael of Beaumont, and Brenda Chun of San Antonio; grandchildren Cindy Chun, Viviana Avalos, Simon Avalos, Noah Ordoyne, Emma Ordoyne, and Rafael Avalos, Jr; sister Maria Flora Hernandez; niece Elizabeth Hernandez and husband Elvis; and numerus other loving family and friends.
