Betty Sue Boyles

Funeral services for Betty Sue Boyles, 79 of Beaumont will take place on Friday, February 17 at 11:30 AM in Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and guests from 10:30 AM until the 11:30 AM service time. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston at 3:00 PM.

Betty was born December 7, 1932 to Dougle Cyler and Meta Hughes Salter in Hull, Texas. Betty went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her residence in Beaumont. Betty was employed with Popeye's Restaurant as an administrative assistant prior to her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, being with family, playing games, reading and water aerobics.

Those left to cherish Betty are her husband, John Boyles; daughters, Carol Porter and husband Dave of Pickerington, OH, Patty Brown and husband Jeff of Hilliard, OH, Jill Dunman and husband, Richard, of Lumberton, TX and son, Dr. Danny Boyles of Ft. Worth, TX; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Boyles, Jeremy Porter, Chris Brown, Michael Porter; 3 great-grandchildren, Brayden Boyles, Parker Boyles and Morgan Brown; and her sister, Ann Persky and husband, Bobby. Of course we cannot forget her loving dog, "Lulu." Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Patrick Brown, her sister, Jon Thomas and her brother, Glen Salter.
